TITLE: Coot standing on floating wooden pontoon, reflected in calm water
INFO: "This Coot hopped out of the water and onto the tethered wooden pontoon floating out in front of the Tern Hide, where it proceeded to just stand and stretch a leg occasionally, giving the opportunity to see those huge webbed feet which give it such speed when swimming on the water surface and which also allow it to dive down quite deep in search of food underwater. Good strong morning sunshine and the calm conditions gave almost mirror-like water for a reasonably good reflection. A bit far out for my lens and well cropped in for this web display image."
