TITLE: Bittern crouched in reeds
INFO: "Same day as the previous images and the south Bittern finally shows itself and I was just able to get an angle onto it from the south opening window. Late in the day by now and the light levels had dropped even further so I was struggling with ISO and shutter speed - just as well that these birds stand still quite often! - and lens VR (Vibration Reduction) on full time now. Quite a nice pose for this shot, as the Bittern watches the water, looking for fish. Not that close in so I've cropped in greatly for this more impactful web display image."
