TITLE: Bittern crouched in shallow water
INFO: "A few days on from the previous images and I've returned to the Ivy North Hide to see if the Bittern(s) will show. Straight away this one appeared just outside the north opening window giving some good views and a few shots as it slowly moved about looking for fish to catch, though the light was quite overcast." February 2012 (Ivy North Hide) TECH: Nikon D700, Nikkor 200-400mm f4 zoom lens at 400mm, ISO 1600, f4, 1/500 sec. Lens rested on hide window sill. Cropped image about 20% of frame (from full-frame FX-format image). |
